User Registration & Google Sign-In

Certain interactive features on AutoNotion — including The Box, our AI-powered automotive assistant — require user registration. Registration is performed via Google Sign-In, a secure authentication service provided by Google LLC.

When you register through Google Sign-In, we receive and store the following information from your Google account:

• Email address — used as your unique account identifier
• Display name — used to personalize your experience
• Profile photo URL — displayed in the chat interface
• Google account identifier (sub) — a unique ID used to verify your identity on subsequent visits

We do not receive or store your Google password, contacts, calendar, or any other data from your Google account beyond what is listed above. Your registration data is stored securely in our databases and is not shared with third parties except as described in this notice.

Your session is maintained locally on your device. You may revoke access at any time by removing AutoNotion from your Google account’s third-party app permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

The Box — AI Automotive Assistant

The Box is an AI-powered automotive assistant available on AutoNotion. It uses artificial intelligence technology provided by Anthropic (Claude) to generate responses based on our editorial archive and publicly available automotive data.

Important disclaimers:

• The Box provides informational content only. Its responses do not constitute professional advice, appraisal, mechanical inspection, or a recommendation to buy or sell any vehicle.
• Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors. Always verify critical information — such as pricing, specifications, and vehicle condition — directly with the manufacturer, dealer, or a qualified mechanic before making a purchase decision.
• AutoNotion assumes no liability for decisions made based on information provided by The Box.

Data processing: When you use The Box, the text of your conversation is sent to Anthropic’s API for processing. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with their privacy policy. Anthropic does not use data submitted via the API to train their models.

Data retention: If you are a registered user, your email address and registration data are stored in our database to provide you with a personalized experience. Conversation content is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored on our servers in a manner that is associated with your identity. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@autonocion.com.

Newsletter Subscription

During registration for The Box, you may optionally choose to subscribe to the AutoNotion newsletter by checking the corresponding checkbox. This subscription is entirely voluntary and is not required to use The Box or any other service on this website.

If you opt in, your email address and the date of your consent are recorded and transmitted to Mailchimp for newsletter delivery. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter email, or by contacting us at info@autonocion.com.

We will never share your email address with third-party advertisers or sell your personal data.

Social Media

AutoNotion maintains profiles on major social networks including Facebook, X (Twitter), and other platforms. When you interact with us on these platforms — by following, commenting, liking, or sharing — your data is processed according to the respective platform’s privacy policy.
