The unidentified vehicle almost feels like Loch Ness getting caught on camera. An unidentifiable beast that was not meant to be captured on film.

While I am not quite sure what I’m looking at, I can tell it’s most definitely something special.

The car community needs this Aston Martin hypercar to be real

I admittedly got goosebumps watching the video of Aston Martin’s bizarre hypercar driving on the track. Or maybe it’s cold out. Either way, it felt quite otherworldly. It had more aura in those few seconds than most supercars have in their entire existence.

It appears to be an Aston Martin Valkyrie built on a Formula 1 chassis. Like an F1 car, it has a single seat and Halo cockpit protection system. However, the body is much more extreme, seeming quite wide and aerodynamic, with a massive wing. Like the Valkyrie, this vehicle has double wishbones with pushrod-actuated torsion bars for its suspension, and shares a similar nose and blade bumper.

@scubachef1969

Aston Martin test day . Any one no what car this is . #astonmartin #f1 #racecar #project #projectcar

♬ original sound – Scubachef1969

In the grainy footage captured of the mystery Aston Martin, car enthusiasts honed in on the sound, concluding it’s likely a hybrid V12 engine. If it’s the same as the Valkyrie, it could be a 6.5-liter Cosworth engine, which means a combined output of 1,160 horsepower.

It’s an extreme appearance that I feel is quite difficult to grasp at first. The car community is wondering if it’s heading to production or just an elaborate hoax. But what would it be, if real? I guess it would be a track-only hypercar that takes inspiration from F1. The blend of racing foundation, aerodynamics, and power could make it one of the fastest production cars in the world if it’s real — and reaches production.

It would be nice to know a bit more about this strange Aston Martin, but the person behind the TikTok was far too busy filming the grass. Like a Bigfoot video, it feels like we are being teased with a possibility rather than given hard evidence. But we believe.

We want to believe.

I recently saw a Reddit thread with people asking why EVs get so much hate. Well, there are actually a ton of these. The EV drivers say the ride is smoother, the technology is more advanced, and the 0-60 is faster. But nobody is really denying these things. The issue is that car enthusiasts don’t care. These are not things that will entice them. They love their bare bones driver’s car that shakes at 90 miles per hour. Smoothness is overrated.

In all seriousness, the hate is because these kind of soulless and bland SUVs continue to be cranked out. It feels like they are being forced upon us. That’s why the car community is so intrigued by this short, nothing-burger clip. It shows the possibility of innovation, passion, excitement. It’s not like we’d actually have the money to buy one (the existing Valkyrie sold for $3.5 million to $4 million. But we love seeing carmakers push models to the limit, coming up with new ideas and pushing boundaries.

For now, it’s unknown of this Aston Martin even exists. But we need it to.

Aston Martin was recently caught testing one of the most extreme hypercars we’ve ever seen — and nobody can quite …

[19
113
post-7027","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-performance-and-luxury","tag-aston-martin","resize-featured-image
["GET
