After years of vehicles getting more and more expensive<\/a>, car lease prices have finally<\/em> gotten sensible again. March 2026 is a bit of a buyer\u2019s market, and it\u2019s possible to snag the kind of vehicle you want for under $300 per month.<\/p>\n

Lease deals do obviously vary by vehicle type and across the country. Places like Denver have huge EV incentives, for example, while Nevada has the highest vehicle sales tax in the United States. But the deals we\u2019ve found should apply to large stretches of the country. If you\u2019re unlucky enough to live in New York like me, or California like Olivia, you\u2019ll be used to missing out on the really good lease deals and paying a bit of a premium.\u00a0[Editor’s Note: This is why I just buy old cars!]<\/em><\/p>\n

But with over 400,000 2025 models sitting on lots unsold, decent deals should be available anywhere. Here are the seven best we could find for March 2026.<\/p>\n

2025 Kia Niro EV – $159\/month<\/h2>\n

Kia may have killed off the PHEV version of the Nero<\/a>, but the EV variant is still going strong. You can grab one of the remaining 2025 model year examples for as little as $159 per month with $3,999 due at signing.<\/p>\n

That not only makes the Nero EV absurdly affordable for an electric vehicle, but it\u2019s also the cheapest car on this list overall. You get a lot for your money too. Over 200 horsepower, a reassuringly average 253 miles of range, and the ability to use DC fast charging. So you can pop up to 70% of the batteries range back into it in under 45 minutes.<\/p>\n

2026 Toyota Corolla LE – $179\/month<\/h2>\n

Who doesn\u2019t love a Toyota Corolla? If you\u2019re one of the presumably tiny portion of drivers that has never owned one of the notoriously reliable, practical, and economical sedans now is your chance. You can nab a 2026 model for just $179 per month for 39 months. You do have to fork out $3,999 at signing, but that\u2019s pretty standard for these better lease deals. Toyota may even throw two years worth of maintenance in to sweeten the deal.<\/p>\n

Not only is the Corolla absurdly affordable, but it\u2019s also one of the most efficient vehicles<\/a> you can get in 2026. So not only will you be saving a small fortune in monthly payments, but you\u2019re unlikely to be hit too hard by the spike in oil prices this month.<\/p>\n

2026 Mazda3 2.5 S Select Sport FWD – $199\/month<\/h2>\n

While a lot of 2025 models are pretty cheap at the moment due to residual stock, there are still great deals on model year 2026 vehicles. The Mazda3 2.5 S Select Sport FWD is a perfect example of this.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s available for as little as $199 per month on a 36-month lease deal with $3,499 due at signing. Mazda is also running some great offers on the CX-50, which can be a great alternative to the Toyota RAV4<\/a> in certain configurations, but the Mazda3 may be a better choice for most people.<\/p>\n

2026 Honda Civic LX – $209\/month<\/h2>\n

As far as affordable yet capable sedans go, the Honda Civic might just be top of the pile. They\u2019re good looking, practical, pretty powerful, and great on gas. The affordability side of things also translates to leases, especially when it comes to the entry-level LX trim.<\/p>\n

At $209 per month for 36 months, the Honda Civic LX looks like a bit of a steal. It\u2019s also the most economical gas-only car on the road in 2026, which compounds the savings even further. The only snags are the fact you may not get the lowest priced lease possible in every location, and the $3,899 due at signing is also pretty significant.<\/p>\n

2026 Subaru Crosstrek – $235\/month<\/h2>\n

If you want something that won\u2019t break the bank, but will bring a bunch of capability to the table, then the Subaru Crosstrek is one of your better options. You can get one on lease in March for as little as $235 a month for 36 months, with an additional $3,234 due at signing.<\/p>\n

The Crosstrek is the smallest crossover in Subaru\u2019s lineup, but it does come with AWD as standard. Which is something you don\u2019t see a lot on entry-level vehicles. The Crosstrek is a plucky little thing, with one notably slaughtering a Tesla Cybertruck off-road back in 2024. So you will be getting something that can handle adverse terrain and difficult conditions for your money.<\/p>\n

2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid Premium – $269\/month<\/h2>\n

If the Crosstrek isn\u2019t enough SUV for you, you can go a little bigger. At $269 per month for 36 months plus $2,254 due at signing, the Forester is remarkably cheap. The trim level and hybrid powertrain also set this particular deal apart from everything on this list.<\/p>\n

Subaru might be giving up close to $5,000 on this one, just to clear their unsold 2025 Forester Hybrid Premiums off the lot. So if this deal or anything close to you is available in your area, you should probably jump on it.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a Subaru, so you\u2019ll get AWD as standard in addition to the better fuel economy that comes with hybrid powertrains. 581 miles from a single tank is not bad at all, and 69.1 cubic feet of cargo space makes this a remarkably practical compact SUV. With that being said, the 2026 Forester just got a price cut<\/a> as well. So the newer model may be a better option for you.<\/p>\n

2025 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend – $299\/month<\/h2>\n

The Ford Bronco has undergone somewhat of a renaissance in the last few years. Popular actress Sydney Sweeney basically did a reverse-OJ Simpson and brought the off-road focused brand back to life. Prices for used Broncos obviously skyrocketed, and the new ones weren\u2019t exactly cheap.<\/p>\n

We did get the smaller, more entry-level, Bronco Sport out of it though. Despite being a diddly version of the big boy Bronco, the Sport wasn\u2019t that affordable, until now. You can currently nab A 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend for just $299 per month. You will have to fork out $3,699 when signing for it, but if you\u2019re into off-roading it\u2019s an obvious pick.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend comes with 4WD and Ford\u2019s suite of terrain management tools as standard. It\u2019s also a little sportier than its big brother. I\u2019ve personally driven one through a field and was told to \u201ccalm down a bit\u201d by the very worried chap sitting next to me. So you don\u2019t even need roads or basic infrastructure to get the most out of this thing. It\u2019s the \u201cbiggest looking\u201d vehicle on this list too, even if the Subaru Forester does have a bit more cargo space.<\/p>\n
