This is going viral on the gaming side of the news, but I thought I’d let the auto side in on it as well. A car company has already announced that it will be closed on November 19th, the day that Grand Theft Auto 6 launches. It’s being called an “unprecedented cultural event.”<\/p>\n
Burger Motorsports<\/a> is the manufacturer of the JB4 performance tuner and other street-inspired racing products. They basically sound like the exact company that would have an outing to AMC for a new\u00a0Fast and Furious<\/em> movie or shut down for Grand Theft Auto 6’s launch.<\/p>\n On Instagram, the company wrote: “Burger Motorsports will be observing a temporary company-wide operational pause on Thursday, November 19, 2026. <\/span>After reviewing multiple employee scheduling conflicts, management has determined that normal business operations may be impacted due to the release of Grand Theft Auto 6.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Burger Motorsports added that employees will return to work after exploring Vice City and completing at least one mission. It sounds a bit goofy, but I actually know plenty of people that have taken up to a week off from work to grind a game they’ve been anticipating. And with Grand Theft Auto 6 being one of the most anticipated games of all time, the company knew it’d be losing many employees that day anyway.<\/p>\n Grand Theft Auto 6 is available to pre-order later this month. Which is sorta crazy since we know almost nothing<\/em> about the game. There is a female protagonist for the first time and it takes place in Vice City, based on Miami.
